Welcome to Totura and Company and our new website.

We proudly offer specialty claims adjusting services for all lines/types of Property, Casualty and Liability claims. Our claim assignments originate from traditional Domestic insurance carriers, Start-up carriers, as well as Excess and Surplus lines carriers, London Syndicates, Third Party Administrators, Self- Insured Entities and City and State Municipalities.

Totura & Company offers adjusting services in the state of Florida and Georgia. Our team is dedicated in providing excellent customer service that will exceed your expectations. We continue to grow by embracing progressive change based on the needs of our clients and employees. We are one of the few Florida based independent adjusting firms who hire adjusters on a permanent basis as employees and comply with all respective state and federal laws. In 1970, Totura and Company was formed as a corporation to handle various Claims Programs. Now Totura and Company handles claims for over 900 different clients nationwide. Totura and Company also handles many London (England) based clients through certain interested underwriters of Lloyds of London. In addition to property and casualty claims, Totura and Company runs Workers’ Compensation programs for a variety of self-insured Clients as well as handling the Claims Administration for other municipalities.

  1. 24 Hour contact with insured
  2. Inspection within 72 hours of contact – document exceptions
  3. Computerized line item estimate/short form report to company within 7 days of inspection.
  4. Reports, estimates, photographs and other documentation will be submitted by email in PDF with invoice
  5. Tax and depreciation (if applicable) on all estimates
  6. Coverage/Underwriting issues will be addressed in the report and documented
  7. Expect First and Final report with invoice within 7 calendar days. Should you not be able to close within that timeframe, status report documenting reasons will be required.
  8. Status report every 15 days
  9. Diagrams with measurements
  10. Xactimate Estimates – Base Services Charges Turned Off unless specifically requested by client.
